Captain Cunqui and his sailors arrive to Pediatric Hospitalization Unit of Hospital Alvaro Cunqueiro

We are delighted for our humble contribution in projects that improve people well-being, and even more for so, of the little ones. From Grupo Ibeconsa we want to share this initiative with our clients and suppliers who, indirectly, have also collaborated in it.

Since the last few weeks, the corridors, rooms and the whole pediatric unit of the Alvaro Cunqueiro Hospital in Vigo, have become a frienlier place, thanks to drawing on its walls that help pacients to identify their emotions, understand them, and be able to express them as part of their therapy. Captain Cunqui is the one in charge of this mission, who is together with his funny marine fleet: the “Dreamy” Fish, tired and sleepy: the Dolphin Alegro, playful and outgoing; the Starfish “Meda”, suspicious and fearful; the crab “Furio”, moody and distant; and “Ostriña” the clam, shy and sad. All of them will help younger patients to have a less difficult experince in their passage through the hospital. Hence the excitement of the entire Iberconsa Family for being able to contribute to this initiative, which will undoubtedly become a model for other pediatric hospitalization units in Spain.

From the hospital they have shown their joy of “having a warmer space adapted to the child´s needs and their families”, a feeling that we share. A space that already has a very special gang of saylors who will become the best company for young patients.
