Facing the social emergency caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Caritas has launch a national solidarity campaign in order to get help to attend the most vulnerable groups with whom it works.
From Grupo Iberconsa we want to make our solidarity contribution. To do this, we have donated 100.000€ in purchase vouchers redeemable in our Hiperxel network of stores. It is food aid to combat the collateral effects that the Coronavirus crisis is causing among the most disadvantaged social groups.
Under the slogan, “Caritas against the Coronavirus. Every gesture counts ”the solidarity organization wants to mobilize aid for those most in need by individuals, companies and institutions. The entire Caritas national network has had to adapt to the prevention regulations dictated by the health authorities as well as to redouble accompanying actions for people in the most precarious situation.
