Iberconsa participates once again in the charity campaign “A Smile For Christmas 2021”.
The Iberconsa Group is once again collaborating in the “A Smile for Christmas 2021” campaign, an initiative carried out by the NGO International Cooperation, which aims to fill work centres with solidarity during these special dates.
During the Christmas season, a Christmas tree full of paper balls with the name and age of a child on each one, has been placed in the company’s common areas. Next to it, employees were able to find a stand with instructions on how to make the donations or how to get the gifts to each of them.
Despite the effects of Covid-19, International Cooperation has managed to reach its goal and exceed last year’s figures, reaching 7,308 gifts with the help of 66 companies.
Specifically in Vigo, a total of 142 gifts have been distributed this year, where Iberconsa has managed to collect 42 gifts for the children of the city and thus provide a little help in these dates that for many families are complicated.
The distribution of gifts was carried out in collaboration with ASDEGAL, FEVEGA, Cáritas Tui-Vigo and the AAVV Cristo de la Victoria de Coia. The gifts collected by ASDEGAL and Cooperación Internacional were distributed among these organisations.
