Quotas and Fishing Grounds

Operating in some of the world’s largest fishing grounds – in Argentina, Namibia and South Africa – Iberconsa Group and their associates have very sizeable quotas in Cape hake, Argentine hake, Argentine red shrimp, and Argentine shortfin squid, to name but a few. Our fleet also captures other species that are highly valued in the marketplace, such as monkfish, kingklip, and South African squid.

The fleet

We combine operations and commercial agreements that allow us to work with more than 50 vessels in our fishing grounds. The fleet comprises factory freezer vessels, outrigger trawlers, squid jiggers, and wet fish trawlers, all of them equipped with the latest detection and fishing-system technology and the most efficient onboard factories, both in frozen and wet fish.
