Cadilu Fishing (Pty) Ltd, one of the major shareholders of Iberconsa’s factory in Namibia, Embwinda Fishing (Pty) Ldt, is participating as a sponsoring partner in the Real Madrid Foundation’s Football Clinics programme in Namibia. The programme, which aims to promote critical values such as motivation, equality, respect, discipline, health and wellness, teamwork and empowerment through sport, will be implemented by the Namibia Schools Sport Union.
The visit of a delegation from the Real Madrid Foundation to Windhoek during the week of 6 March 2023 marks a milestone in the progress of the implementation of this initiative. The Foundation’s mission is to express, through its social action, Real Madrid’s commitment to solidarity by promoting the values inherent in sport and comprehensive education for children and young people, as well as the social inclusion of the most vulnerable.
The programme, which will be implemented during 2023, will consist of four football clinics aimed at children from primary and secondary schools between the ages of 6 and 17. The first two clinics will take place in Windhoek and Walvisbay at the end of May 2023, and the next two will be held in Otjiwarongo and Rundu in September/October 2023.
