In September 2017, our ship Urabain suffered a serious fire, and we had to decide what would be its final use.
Once Chubut’s Ministry of Environment proposal was assesed, Grupo Iberconsa to give a second life to such an emblematic vessel for this group and sunk it to transform the ship into an underwater park, so that it works as a stimulus to foster underwater tourism.
